Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has announced the groundbreaking of its AED3 billion ($816 million) master-planned residential development – Dubai Creek Gardens – which on completion will boast over 1,400 residences alongside curated retail and dining offerings.
Spanning more than 127,000 sq m along Dubai Creek, the development represents a significant addition to the destination’s integrated healthcare, wellness and lifestyle ecosystem, said a statement from DHCC.
Being jointly developed by Global Partners as part of DHCC Phase Two, it is being designed as a low-density, nature-integrated community, that will dedicate 70 per cent of its total area to landscaped gardens, parks, sports facilities and wellness-focused open spaces, it stated.
Set for completion in 2030, Dubai Creek Gardens will feature the UAE’s first Westin and Renaissance-branded homes, developed in collaboration with Marriott International, adding to Dubai’s growing portfolio of internationally branded residential developments.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by senior DHCC executives and key representatives from Global Partners; Mirage Leisure and Development; Octa Properties; Bauer Spezialtiefbau and Marriott International.
In another development, global hospitality major Kempinski has announced the launch of its premium project in Dubai Creek featuring 279 luxury apartments surrounded by natural landscapes.
The new project, Residences The Creek, being developed by Dubai-based group Swiss Property, offers a serene lifestyle complemented by premium amenities and exquisite services.
Focused on premium and luxury contemporary homes with a harmonious approach to sophisticated design, art, and engineering, the project brings Kempinski’s 150-year legacy of luxury hospitality to one of the city’s most scenic neighbourhoods, with panoramic views of Creek Harbour, it added.
