Marriott signs deal to launch The Westin Abha by 2031

Marriott International has signed an agreement with Manarat Al Dheyafah Company for Real Estate to launch The Westin Abha, marking the hospitality group's debut in Saudi Arabia’s Asir region.

Scheduled to open in 2031, the hotel will be located in Jabal Thah Valley, offering easy access to Abha International Airport and the city centre.

The property is set to feature 464 guestrooms designed around Westin’s wellbeing-focused brand philosophy, complemented by wellness and lifestyle amenities.

The wider development will also include villas, chalets and extended-stay apartments, as well as restaurants, meeting spaces and event facilities.
