WSP, one of the world's leading engineering, science and infrastructure solutions firms, has been named Technical Adviser of the Year 2025 for the Middle East and North Africa at the IJGlobal Awards.
The recognition follows a year in which WSP's Power & Energy team in the region, advised on 11 major transactions across generation, renewable energy, water and wastewater treatment, and transmission infrastructure - representing more than 12.7 GW of energy capacity, over 158 MIGD of water and wastewater infrastructure, and hundreds of kilometres of strategic water transmission assets.
The recognition reflects the work of WSP's Power & Energy team, which advised on major energy, water and infrastructure projects across the region during the judging period, helping clients navigate complex technical challenges and deliver successful outcomes.
The award recognises technical advisers that demonstrate innovation, impact and success in supporting infrastructure and energy transactions across the region.
Kathleen McGrail, Managing Director, Advisory Services, WSP Middle East, said: "This award is a fantastic recognition of our Power & Energy team and the impact they've made for clients across the Middle East. In a fast-moving regional infrastructure market, clients need technical advisers who can bring clarity, confidence and deep sector expertise to complex programmes - and this award reflects the strength of that capability across our team. I'm incredibly proud of what the team has achieved, helping deliver projects that strengthen energy security, support water resilience and create lasting value for the communities they serve."
The win underlines WSP's role in supporting governments, utilities, developers and investors as they plan, finance and deliver technically complex energy, water and infrastructure programmes across the Middle East. - TradeArabia News Service
