Richmind, a UAE-focused real estate developer, has announced that it has reached a significant new milestone in the development of Oystra, its landmark luxury waterfront project on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, completing the shoring works as construction continues to advance.
The milestone coincides with the opening of Richmind’s new luxury Experience Centre in Jumeirah, Dubai, designed by global architecture and design firm Gensler.
Together, the two developments signal a new phase for Oystra, bringing its architectural vision closer to reality while strengthening direct engagement with prospective residents, investors and partners, said the developer.
Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, Oystra is progressing from architectural ambition into tangible built form. The completion of shoring works represents a key step in the project’s construction programme, preparing the site for the next stages of development and providing investors with visible evidence of continued progress.
Construction activity at Oystra has maintained steady momentum over recent months, reflecting Richmind’s focus on execution, quality and adherence to delivery timelines, it stated.
"The difference between an exceptional design and a completed building lies in the discipline of execution," said Mohammad Rafiee, CEO of Richmind.
"This essential stage reflects the precision and care required to translate Oystra’s architectural vision into reality. Completing it represents an important milestone in the project’s construction programme," he noted.
Oystra brings the distinctive architectural language of Zaha Hadid Architects to the evolving waterfront of Al Marjan Island.
Characterised by sculptural forms inspired by the sea and sky, the development has been conceived around an elevated residential experience, with carefully considered spaces dedicated to leisure, wellbeing and waterfront living.
Dewan Architects + Engineers serves as lead design consultant, translating the architectural concept into a coordinated and technically robust design. HBA is responsible for the interior design, while Cracknell is leading the landscape design.
Alongside the progress on Al Marjan Island, Richmind has strengthened its presence in Dubai with the opening of its new Experience Centre at Building 822, Jumeirah 3.
Developed over 18 months and designed by Gensler, the centre embodies Richmind’s approach to architecture, refined interiors and meticulous attention to detail.
According to Richmind, more than a traditional sales environment, the Experience Centre has been conceived as an immersive destination where prospective residents, investors and partners can explore Oystra’s architectural identity, material palette, interior finishes and waterfront lifestyle.
Visitors can also access personalised consultations and engage directly with the Richmind team, creating a more transparent and informed experience throughout the investment journey, it stated.
"We spent a year and a half shaping this experience because we wanted every detail to reflect the standards we stand for," remarked Rafiee.
"Working with Gensler, our ambition was to create a place where visitors can experience our approach to design, quality and personal service from the moment they arrive. It is an introduction to the level of care and consideration we are bringing to Oystra," he noted.
The development arrives as Ras Al Khaimah continues to strengthen its position as an emerging destination for luxury residential investment and premium waterfront living in the UAE, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
