Dialight, a global leader in industrial LED lighting innovation, has launched its new DuroSite high output LED floodlight, a robust and efficient solution designed to meet the demanding needs of large-scale industrial applications across the APAC and EMEA regions.
The DuroSite floodlight provides high output area illumination, supporting customers in ports, rail yards, laydown yards, onshore supply bases, stockpiles, security perimeters, and processing infrastructure. The fixture is also suited for select municipal and sports applications.

DuroSite High Output LED Floodlight ... designed for demanding settings.
With an estimated 50 per cent of targeted industries still relying on traditional High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting, the new DuroSite high output LED floodlight offers a compelling upgrade path.
Dialight explains that HID systems are known for short lamp life, high maintenance costs, and susceptibility to vibration-related failures. The new fixture delivers significant energy and maintenance savings for retrofit applications, offering a favourable total cost of ownership compared to legacy industrial HID systems.
“The DuroSite LED floodlight strengthens our commitment to delivering lighting solutions that industrial operators can depend on,” says Malcolm Lee, Managing Director, Asia Pacific. “By combining robust engineering with high-efficiency performance, we’re giving customers a more reliable alternative to legacy HID systems, helping reduce maintenance requirements and improve operational safety in demanding industrial environments.”

High ambient temperatures in industrial facilities add thermal stress to LEDs and drivers.
Industrial environments push equipment to its limits. High temperatures, airborne contaminants, vibration and corrosive exposure are common realities inside many facilities – and lighting systems operate continuously within those same harsh conditions, Dialight points out. When fixtures aren’t specified for the environment, stresses such as dust accumulation, chemical vapours, heat, moisture and vibration can degrade performance, shorten service life and increase maintenance costs.
Dust is present in nearly every industrial facility. The movement of materials, forklifts, and personnel continuously sends fine particles into the air where they eventually settle on surfaces throughout the plant. Dust and airborne contaminants collect on fixtures and trap heat, accelerating component degradation. Chemical vapours and VOCs (volatile organic compounds) can attack optical and electronic materials over time, causing lumen loss or colour shift and, in some cases, increasing ignition risk if combined with excessive heat or electrical faults.

Industrial facilites demand high specification equipment.
High ambient temperatures add thermal stress to LEDs and drivers, while moisture, salt spray and corrosives accelerate corrosion of housings and hardware. Continuous vibration from conveyors, compressors and heavy machinery can loosen or damage drivers, connections and mechanical components.
The DuroSite floodlight has been engineered and extensively tested to withstand these industrial realities. The new floodlight has undergone comprehensive testing including optical, IP/IK, salt‑spray, accelerated life (ALT), UV, and vibration evaluations and offers several key specifications. It features an A360 aluminium‑alloy housing with a premium powder‑coat finish and a 316S stainless‑steel bracket and hardware. The unit meets ANSI C136.31 vibration requirements and is available with symmetric or asymmetric optics. For safety, it includes secondary retention hardware, it is rated for 50 deg C ambient operation, and it has an integrated driver with an option for remote mounting up to 100 m, says Dialight.
The new DuroSite floodlight is available in FA Series (one-module) and FB Series (two-module) configurations, with multiple CCT options (2200K–5000K). The product carries CE, ENEC and RCM certifications, ensuring compliance across APAC and EMEA markets, according to Dialight.
