Abdullah Ali Al-Majid Est has signed a hotel management agreement with Swiss-Belhotel International head-quartered in Hong Kong.

As per this agreement a new four star hotel property to be known as Swiss-Belhotel Doha, Suites & Residences is to be set up in Doha.

The new hotel, the third for the Swiss-Belhotel International group in the Middle East region, is just five minutes from the international airport, and ideally located between the banking district and the old Doha city centre.

The 17 floor twin tower property and shopping precinct was designed by Badih& Kantar a well known designer architect from Beirut, Lebanon. A soft opening of the hotel is slated for March 2008.

The hotel and residences have been designed in a twin-tower configuration with one tower dedicated to residential living spaces and the other, hotel rooms, suites and facilities, atop a luxury shopping mall showcasing international fashion and accessory brands.

The hotel features an impressive inventory of 185 rooms, executive rooms andsuites ranging from spacious standard rooms starting at 55sqm to the 90 sqm three-bedroom Royal Suite.
