Nakheel, a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has unveiled Bay Estate, a new gated waterfront community at Dubai Islands.
The launch comprises approximately 360 three- and four-bedroom homes, alongside a selection of beachfront and waterfront plots, within a coastal setting off Dubai's Deira coastline.
The residential collection includes garden villas, attached villas and townhouses, offering a range of private island living options designed around the waterfront and surrounding landscape. The island estate brings together contemporary homes, swimmable lagoons, beach access, curated amenities and pedestrian-first green spaces within a single secure waterfront setting.
Bay Estate comprises three distinct collections, each shaped by its relationship with water and landscape. Cala centres on secluded lagoon living; Verda is defined by lush green spaces and family-oriented residences; and Agora offers a more social, connected neighbourhood experience.
The wider masterplan spans 653,709 sq m, with 2.4 km of beachfront and 6.5 km of waterfront. Dedicated gated access and controlled entry points create a secure residential enclave, complemented by a beach club, clubhouse, marina facilities, retail and wellness spaces, sports courts, children's play areas and landscaped pedestrian routes.
Across the estate, the residences are arranged within a human-scale plan that prioritises open space, walkability and access to water. At full completion, Bay Estate is planned to accommodate more than 12,000 residents.
Khalid Al Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said: “Dubai Islands represents one of the most significant opportunities to shape the future of waterfront living in Dubai. Through destinations such as Bay Estate, we are responding to the strong interest we are seeing today in distinctive coastal communities that combine privacy, connectivity and long-term value, while contributing to Dubai’s continued growth as a global destination for living, investment and tourism.”
Dubai Islands extends Dubai's historic Deira coastline into a new waterfront destination. The five-island masterplan spans 18.6 square kilometres and is planned to accommodate more than 230,000 residents across approximately 62,000 homes, alongside more than 11,000 hotel keys and more than 4,000 branded residences.
The destination's integrated masterplan includes two 18-hole championship golf courses, 8 marinas linked by promenades and water-transport connections, coastal parks, cycling routes and walkable neighbourhoods. Dubai Islands will add approximately 57 kilometres of coastline to the city, including 21 kilometres of beachfront.
Dubai Islands is connected to the mainland by three bridges with direct access to the Al Shindagha Corridor. Dubai International Airport is within 10 kilometres and Downtown Dubai within 15 kilometres, connecting Bay Estate to the wider city while preserving its coastal character. - TradeArabia News Service
